How do we perform?
Jet2.com is focused on providing the best possible performance and improving the customer experience. We believe in providing honest feedback about how we are doing and the following stats are for performance in April 2008.
The OTP for the previous 12 months was 85.5%
Punctuality
Unlike most airlines, we consider any delay to be a bad delay. As a result, we measure all delays which are more than 5 minutes whereas most airlines only measure delays which are more than 15 minutes.
In April 2008, 92.2% of flights departed within 5 minutes of schedule.
Very few delayed bags:
Only 0.49 per 1000 passengers delayed bags!
Jet2.com is striving towards achieving zero delayed bags. Even one bag delayed, is one bag too many.
Hardly any flights cancelled:
Only 0.1% flights cancelled in April 2008!
We only ever cancel a flight when we simply have no other choice. This will invariably be for safety, weather outside of safe operating limits or strike reasons.
