With so much to do and so much to see in Paris, there’s never enough time to visit all the sights and events going on in France’s lively capital. However, that won’t be the case on October 1st when visitors will have longer than usual to sample Paris’s fantastic culture, as a large part of the city stays open all night for the Nuit Blanche Festival (White Night).

Nuit Blanche has become a highly anticipated annual celebration of the arts and culture scene in Paris where cinemas, museums, galleries, parks, monuments and even local swimming pools stay open throughout the night – with free entry.

The event was first launched in 2002 and has attracted millions of visitors from all over Europe over the years. It’s safe to say that Paris is buzzing most nights but at Nuit Blanche there’s always an extra special atmosphere around the city.

Things to Remember

Wrap up warmly for Nuit Blanche as October nights in Paris can get quite chilly and wet. Public transport will be available throughout the night but trains and buses do get busier than usual so we recommend you find a hotel or apartment within walking distance of the city centre.

Book cheap flights to Paris at Jet2.com and you could be enjoying Parisian events and culture around the clock at this year’s Nuit Blanche.
