Sunday 21st November sees the 26th annual Abbey Dash take place in Leeds and for the second year running, Jet2.com will be proudly sponsoring the event.
A 15 strong team from Jet2.com will be taking part and hoping to raise thousands of pounds for Leeds Age Concern and Help the Aged. Training has been taking place at Leeds Bradford Airport with the runners fitting in as much last minute training as possible!
Starting outside the Town Hall and passing through Kirkstall Abbey, participants will be able to enjoy a picturesque, flat course – ideal for both those who are attempting their very first 10k run, and elite and seasoned runners aiming to beat a personal best time.
Staff at Yorkshire's friendly low fare airline Jet2.com, have pledged to raise some much needed funds in aid of Age-Concern and Help the Aged by signing up for this year’s Leeds Abbey Dash, taking place this Sunday 21st November.
Sponsors of the popular 10km road race, Jet2.com has recruited a number of employees from cabin crew and check-in staff to the managing director of the airline, Ian Doubtfire, to swap their wings for trainers this weekend when they take part in the region’s 26th Abbey Dash.
