The Action Against Hunger annual campaign teams up with hospitality businesses around the world to build awareness about world hunger and raise vital funds to fight the pandemic.
Last year the campaign raised over 100,000 Euros and this year it will be running between 15th September and 15th November and aiming to raise even more.
The organisation has teamed up with the Spanish federation of Hospitality to arrange a scheme working with restaurants and hotels across Spain to raise money to help children in danger of malnutrition in some of the world’s poorest countries.
Dishes have been selected in participating establishments and for each serving sold, donations will be made toward the philanthropic campaign.
A range of around 50 restaurants and hotels in Barcelona will be taking part in this event and holiday makers are encouraged to participate in support of this really deserving cause.
