Multi-platinum selling guitar-pop band The Kooks will be hitting Barcelona’s Sala Razzmatazz on Sunday October 23rd, to coincide with the release of their third album ‘Junk of the Heart’.
After a sell-out tour of the UK, which started in Glasgow on September 30th, the indie rockers will move on to perform at some of Europe’s best venues including Milan’s, Alcatraz and Madrid’s, La Riviera.
Named after the song on David Bowie's Hunky Dory, The Kooks met at Brighton Music College almost a decade ago and were signed to Virgin Records just three months after forming.
Their debut album Inside/In Inside/Out sold millions worldwide, followed by instant chart-topping success with their second album Konk. When the band takes to the stage at Barcelona’s Sala Razzmatazz later this month, fans can expect to hear all the old hits like: Eddie’s Gun, She Moves In Her Own Way and You Don’t Love Me.
About Barcelona’s Sala Razzmatazz
Definitely a contender for Barcelona’s best nightclub, Sala Razzamatazz is five great venues rolled into one. It often provides an intimate setting for pop and rock concerts, and bands like The Killers and U2 have brought the house down in the past.
