As one of the great cultural hubs of central Europe, Prague is a city with an abundance of sights to see, places to go and things to do. Since the early 1990s, cheap flights to Prague have been in abundance, and it has attracted some of the highest amounts of tourists in the world.
One of the things the city is most famous for is its brewed ale and so visiting some of Prague’s best pubs is a must for its visitors.
Some of the World’s Best Pubs
U Zlatého Tygra, translated to The Golden Tiger, is perhaps Prague’s most famous pub. With a reputation as one of the great beer bars not only in the Czech Republic, but in the entire world, its one of the most popular venues in the city.
As such, its capacity is filled very quickly, so it’s best to get in as early as possibly to make sure you get a table or a position at the bar. Even though it has some of the best quality ale around, the beer at U Zlatého Tygra is extremely cheap, making it an all round great pub to visit.
U Fleků is both a pub and microbrewery in the Czech capital. Although its prices are a bit more costly than U Zlatého Tygra, it boasts a host of different features, including its 12th Century architecture and regular live music. The beer brewed here is also of a special dark variety, and is worth the amount of money that it costs.
