Paris’ Champs-Elysees is set to become a flurry of feathers and sequins, for the annual Carnaval Tropical de Paris on July 7th. Inspired by London’s Notting Hill Carnival, Paris’ version is an explosion of colour, with fabulous costumes and a grand parade down Paris’ most famous Avenue that is a must-see on cheap flights to Paris this July.
Carnival groups from as far as Martinique and Guadeloupe come to Paris to take part in the parade, and to show off their costumes that take months to put together. The star of this year’s Carnaval Tropical de Paris will be Queen of the Carnaval Isabella, whose costume is sure to be the most stunning of them all and certainly should not be missed!

As well as the parade there will be many other fantastic events to enjoy as part of the Carnaval, and don’t forget to sample the delicacies on sale at the many street food carts that will line the Champs-Elysees on the day.
Many of Paris’ most famous attractions are also close by to the parade route, in particular the Eiffel Tower which will provide an exceptional vantage point of the Carnaval parade on cheap Jet2.com flights to Paris!
