In addition to providing special flights for Scottish rugby fans, Jet2.com has put on sale additional weekend flights on 23rd and 25th March, due to growing demand for the destination – perfect for those planning an early Spring city break before the Easter rush.

Steve added:  “Rome is certainly proving a very popular destination with Glasgow passengers since the flights went on sale just three weeks ago, hence the decision to start our 2012 flying season earlier.  It’s a city which offers something for everyone – whether it’s visiting the iconic sporting arenas, taking in the awe-inspiring sights or checking out the new season fashions from the likes of Prada and Armani.”

In addition to perfectly planned flight times, allowing sightseers to make the most of their city break, Jet2.com passengers also benefit from allocated seating so friends and family can sit together and share their most memorable moments of this magical city.

Since Jet2.com’s first flight took off from Glasgow, in addition to the Rome route, the airline has announced flights to Geneva, Barcelona, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Malaga and even a Christmas shopping break to New York.  The airline now offers flights to 14 city, sun and ski destinations from the airport.
