Web traffic figures released from the world's leading online competitive intelligence service, IMRG-Hitwise, confirmed that the low cost carrier had the busiest website for any Northern-based company in the UK and had also beaten off the likes of ASDA, Boots and TopShop.
The airline now flies to over 38 destinations across Europe and the Canary Islands and has claimed a top 40 place in the UK-wide report of the top 50 e-retailers .
IMRG-Hitwise, which publishes the figures annually, has ten years’ experience of monitoring and analysing web traffic for the biggest e-retailers across the globe.
The accolade comes just weeks after Jet2.com was voted the most punctual low cost airline operating out of the UK, based on official CAA data.
