First flight to depart from Edinburgh Airport this Friday

29 March 2012:  Jet2.com brought a taste of Spain to Edinburgh Airport today as it prepared to say 'adios' to its inaugural flight to Alicante, which jets off this Friday 30^th March – taking  sun-seekers to the popular Costa Brava.

To celebrate the leading leisure airline’s first flight to its sixth Spanish destination from Edinburgh, Jet2.com's Edinburgh Station Manager, Fiona Black, joined Davis Hunter, Edinburgh Airport’s Commercial Director, in an impromptu flamenco lesson with the lead dancer from local group Pellizco Flamenco.

Jet2.com's direct Edinburgh to Alicante service will operate up to three times a week throughout the summer until Sunday 17^th November 2012, with prices starting at just £37.99 per person including taxes.
