Music Festival to Take Place in Pula’s Historical Venues

08th August 2013

Outlook Festival is heading to Croatia’s Fort Punta Christo at the end of August, and the line-up looks set to build on the event’s previous success.

Pula Amphitheatre

Fans attending this year will be able to enjoy performances from more than 500 live acts, including some of the best DJs from around the world. Those interested are urged to book ahead and secure cheap flights to Pula or other nearby destinations along Croatia’s Adriatic coast.

One of the Biggest Music Festivals

Festivities will start a little earlier this year, as an exclusive club night – serving as a warm up to the main events – is scheduled for the 28th August. It is expected to be a unique experience for partygoers as it will be hosted in Pula’s Roman amphitheatre, which is more than 2,000 years old and stands as one of the six largest of its kind in the world. A number of artists have already been announced for the warm up event, including reggae sensations The Original Wailers.

Outlook Festival grew from humble beginnings to become what is now one of the biggest names on the global music calendar. Jet2.com makes cheap flights to Split and other destinations available for partygoers from the UK, which gives visitors more to spend when they arrive.

Fort Punta Christo was built by Austria in 1862 to protect the port and elements of the navy sheltering there. With the core of the events taking place within the fort and the warm up event scheduled for Pula’s amphitheatre, the festival is considered one of a kind.
