This week, Val D’Isere will play host to the Polo Masters Tournament. In teams of two, professional players from England, France and Argentina will be travelling to the French commune to compete in riveting polo-on-snow games.
The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday (January 16 and 17) and entry is completely free of charge. Offering something for both fans and strangers to the sport, the tournament is sure to be one that shouldn’t be missed.

For those skiing in Morzine, the resort will be launching a new seven-day activity programme at the end of the month. The events are aimed at showing visitors to the French commune a different side of what it has to offer; from green films which showcase the resort’s current sustainable development programme, to off-piste walks that will include its local animal and plant life. Some of the activities will be free of charge, whereas others will cost €20 per head.
