Jet2.com welcomed pupils from
Westville House School last Friday on their exciting visit to Leeds Bradford International
Airport.
Paul Dobson, Fleet Manager for Jet2.com, escorted the school
children aged five and six years of age on a guided tour of the Airport to help
them with their current project “Types of Transport”. The tour started with a
look at the Jet2.com check-in desks, followed by a demonstration from LBIA
staff on how the baggage scanners are operated.
The children later visited the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and
Training School at Multiflight which also presented an optimum viewing position
to see the aircraft taking off and landing. All pupils were presented with Jet2.com
lanyards to help them with their project.
The Jet2.com ground staff were over awed
by the pupils impeccable behaviour and enthusiasm for the airline, definitely a
few Jet2.compilots in the making!
