There’s always something going on in Prague, no matter what the season. If you’re travelling to the Czech capital this November you might want to check out the Festival of Alternative Music.
The acclaimed Archa Theatre and other venues around the city centre will play host to the Festival of Alternative Music (Festival Alternativa). The event is a week-long celebration of alternative and experimental music.
Musicians come from all over the world to perform rock, jazz and modern classical music. While a large part of the festival is dedicated to experimental electronics and alternative forms of modern dance music.
The festival takes place from November 19th – 26 at various venues.

The feast of Saint Martin is also celebrated throughout the whole of the Czech Republic throughout the first half of November. Traditional Czech foods such as baked goose and garlic soup are served at various market stalls set up in the Old Town Square
