Amsterdam is set to go Electro in March as the ‘5 Days Off Music Festival’ breezes into the Dutch capital. The festival showcases the best in electronic music and welcomes DJs and artists from all over the world.
It was established in 2001 and also celebrates dance, theatre and film, with various screenings and performances in different venues around the Dutch capital.
2012 News and Rumours
This year’s line-up includes the 17 piece disco orchestra Escort, London’s SBTRKT, Brooklyn noise pop duo Sleigh Bells, as well as hip-hop electro blends by Gaslamp Killer and the techno legend Jeff Mills. For the full line up and ticket details go to: www.5daysoff.nl.
This year’s venues include: Paradiso - an iconic music venue in an old converted church building; Melkweg – a popular music venue in a former warehouse and De Balie - an internationally renowned theatre and centre for culture and media.
The festival takes place from 7 – 11th March and a five-day ticket costs around £60. Day passes can also be purchased and prices vary.
