24th August 2010
On Friday 20th August Jet2.com cabin crew and staff from Jet2holidays and East Midlands Airport pulled up their shirt sleeves and loosened their neckerchiefs for beach tug of war against the public!
Through sunny spells and not so sunny spells Trent FM rounded up the public with one team tugging to victory. The winning team then took it on turns to draw out the lucky ticket to win a 4* holiday at the fabulous Aquis Vasia Beach & Spa Resort in Crete for two people.
Steve Heapy, Managing Director of Jet2holidays, said: The Nottingham Riviera is a fantastic event for people in the region and it has been great to be a part of it. The Riviera is all about good fun and as the new kids on the block at East Midlands Airport we thought that we would use this opportunity to show the people of Nottingham just what Jet2holidays is made of, with a good old fashioned Tug of War!"
The Nottingham Riviera is open every day until the 5th September. Tuesdays are Tapas Tuesdays, and in conjunction with the Spanish Tourist Board, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays team up with Heart Radio and giveway 2 return flights to a Spanish destination. Plus we have mini brochures and flyers on all our holidays, including a chance to win a 4* holiday to Crete.
See you down there!
