Larnaca Airport is the gateway to many of Cyprus’s top beach resorts. Many of them are less than an hour’s drive from the airport.
The oldest city in Cyprus provides an appealing combination of ancient sights from the ruins of Kition to the Grand Mosque - Djami Kebir. There are also some great Blue Flag beaches here.
Larnaca and Geroskipou are right in the heart of the resort while McKenzie beach is just 5 minutes from the airport. But don’t let that put you off, as it’s renowned for its soft white sand and lovely azure sea.
The party capital of Cyprus, holidays in Ayia Napa have the best of both worlds. On the one hand, the resort is a buzzing party paradise. On the other hand, there's a more serene side to this once fishing village. Beautiful white sandy beaches and narrow cobbled streets show off a different side to Ayia Napa.
If you’re looking for a beach holiday then Nissi Beach is probably the place for you. It’s situated close to Ayia Napa but considerably quieter than the party capital, so you can have the best of both worlds here. You’ll also find a little desert island, just off shore within swimming distance.
With Jet2.com’s fast and frequent cheap flights to Larnaca, many of Cyprus’s top resorts are within easy reach for UK holidaymakers.
