It’s the annual event that raises awareness on world issues; Prague’s One World Film Festival is the biggest human rights film festival in the world. The event takes place in the Czech capital from the 6th – 15th March.
Established in 1999, the festival presents over 100 documentary films during nine days from the best filmmakers around the world. The festival seeks to promote the best quality documentary films on social, political and environmental issues.
100,000 Film Fans
Last year the event attracted more than 100,000 documentary film fans to various locations around Prague. And it’s not just about the viewing experience, after the films have finished, viewers are given the opportunity to discuss the movies with their filmmakers, as well as with experts and special guests.
