The airline industry is a challenging marketplace to operate in and here at Jet2.com we aim to stand out from our competitors with our unique product offering. We pride ourselves on offering our customers the best possible travel experience starting with our Friendly low fares.

Our dedicated Revenue team is responsible for maximising revenue on our flights whilst ensuring we offer the most competitive fares to our customers. After putting flights on sale we individually take ownership of a portfolio of routes and become responsible for reviewing fares, analysing trends, monitoring competitors and constantly being aware of any factors which may affect the financial performance of our routes. Being proactive is of upmost importance and identifying changes in sales patterns and customer buying habits are just two of the ways we stay one step ahead of the competition.

We understand however, that we don't work in isolation, if we notice a change in our sales performance to a particular destination, then we work with the Marketing team to ensure we get the maximum market coverage! If we think we could use an extra midweek flight on a route, then we speak to our Network Planning team and make it happen! These are just a couple of examples of the way Revenue Management's expertise can be used to interact with other teams to ensure maximum profitability on our routes.
