Here you can pick up leatherware, jewellery and beautifully made Turkish rugs from one of the many shops dotted along the narrow cobbled streets. If it's more designer goods you're after then head to Isaranou where you can haggle the traders down on the bustling market stands.
During your break make time to check out the rock tombs and amphitheatre, which are really interesting to explore and once you've made your climb to the tombs, you will get the most spectaculars views of Dalaman.

You can't go to Turkey without trying some delicious and distinctive Turkish cuisine so make sure you sample some delicacies in Dalaman at one of the many traditional restaurants. The best way to do this is to order Mezes where you will receive a platter of small dishes so you can try a bit of everything from Borek - (pasty parcels) to Lavas – (a delicious bread served hot). Wash these down with a tipple of Raki – a strong aniseed flavoured spirit – if you're brave!
