Jet2.com is aware of the increased waiting times at immigration controls for both arriving and departing flights at some of our European airports, mainly in Spain, which is primarily due to the implementation of additional passport and document checks at the border.
Whilst we are encouraging the relevant airports to ensure adequate levels of staffing at all times, due to the sporadic nature of the delays, we are unable to advise which flights are likely to be affected.
We are seeing increased immigration delays for arriving customers. For departing customers returning to the UK , we are seeing delays at sometimes up to 60 minutes through immigration control and so far, no Jet2.com or Jet2holidays customers have missed their flights. Our own Airport Customer Helper teams are working hard to assist our customers in getting to their departure gate on time.
We advise all customers to allow extra time for their journey through the airport to be able to get to your departure gate on time.
We would like to reassure all Jet2holidays customers that transfer coaches will collect you on arrival, and will additionally ensure you are at the airport in sufficient time on your departure day.
