Missed Flights

Jet2.com is a non-refundable airline, so you need to make sure you are at the airport in good time.

If you miss your flight, you can apply in writing to us for a refund of Air Passenger Duty (APD) if a fare has not been used.

Please note that Jet2.com is a ‘point-to-point’ airline, and we assume no responsibility for any onward travel connections. That means we will not be liable for any losses or expenses as a result of missing onward connections or appointments. For this reason, we recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance. If your travel insurance policy covers you for missed flights, your insurer may ask for a ‘statement of non-travel’. You can get this at Manage My Booking.

If you need a statement to show that you have been on a flight, or a statement to prove cancellation of booking or a confirmation of expenses to support your insurance claim, please complete our Insurance Verification Form and post it to the address shown on the form. We will aim to respond within 28 working days once we receive this document.
