Overview
Located on the North Coast of Crete, Gouves is becoming more and more popular with tourists who flock to the beautiful sandy beaches every year. It’s proximity to Heraklion airport means that transfers are short and you can begin your holiday almost straight away.

Gouves also boats some amazing history with excavations still taking place at Vlyhada near the beach where archaeologists have uncovered the remains of ancient buildings.
The town has a colourful shopping area providing all of the essentials as well as plenty of places to get souvenirs. You can also venture away from the coastal resort into the main town and discover more of traditional Crete.

Gouves boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. Its soft golden sand and clear waters makes it a popular choice with holidaymakers who want to relax with a good book and top up their tan.
