Afandou
Overview
Afandou is a very Greek resort for those who like their holiday getaway authentic and want to sample some Greek cuisine in one of the traditional tavernas. It is also a beautiful place to stay with excellent beaches, perhaps some of best on the island of Rhodes. So if you are looking to relax in the sun then you will not be disappointed as Afandou has a large stretch of beach which then turns into small coves and rocks-great for exploration!
Afandou may be one of the oldest villages on the island but has everything you could possibly need there from shops to cafes and a great choice of restaurants. The village square should be your first port of call to get a feel of traditional Greek way of life and to take a look at the impressive Church of Our Lady.
