In Greek "Pefkos" means pine tree and this scenic resort is so named as it is surrounded by pine trees. In fact there is plenty of countryside and vegetation to enjoy from olive groves to figs trees you can even take a look round one of the local vineyards to sample to of the best Greek wine.
From Pefkos you can take to the skies on a microlite trip or board a glass-bottom boat for those after a more relaxing adventure. The town has plenty of supermarkets, shops and bakeries to buy any refreshments you might need through the day to take to Pefkos' small beach with soft golden sands. Lothiarika beach is great for watersports, or if you are looking to relax on the beach then try the inviting golden sands of Glystra beach. If you want a break from the sun then enjoy a refreshing drink at Fuse café bar, making use of the internet access to email home and make your friends and family jealous!

There are so many great places to go out for food in Pefkos. For a traditional Greek meal try Philosophia which has a great location alongside the beach where you can gaze out onto the bay. La Piaza, Smile Garden and Mare Matto are all great for families and the best place to sample some Souvlaka is Alexandras. To Spitaki is the oldest restaurant in Pefkos and serves great traditional fare with wines from all Greek regions.
