Kassiopi

Overview

Kassiopi was once a small fishing village which has developed into a lively holiday resort whilst still managing to retain most of its charm. Located in the north-east corner of Corfu against the backdrop of Mount Pandokrator, the hub of activity is centred around the pretty harbour and town square.

Great for families, couples and young groups, there is plenty to keep you occupied; whether you fancy spending your days lazing around on one of the four main pebble beaches, learning new skills at the diving school or exploring the resort and wider island.

There are plenty of amenities with two large supermarkets as well as shops around the town centre offering everything from souvenirs to local produce, there is also a large children's playground. At night the square comes alive with bars, clubs and tavernas where you can find delicious cocktails, cheap beer and even catch up on the latest scores in a sports bar.

With delicious food on offer you will be spoilt for choice for where to eat out and you're bound to be hungry after spending a day visiting the ruins of Kassiopi Castle or the ultimate challenge of climbing to the top of Mount Pandokrator.

Things to do

Kassiopi Castle

The ruins of Kassiopi Castle overlook the main harbour. Dismantled by the Venetians in the 14th century the castle still reflects some of its former glory of its history protecting the harbour from pirates. It is also well worth the visit for fantastic views across the town.

Mount Pandokrator

If you have the stamina then why not take up the ultimate challenge and climb Mount Pandokrator. When you make it to the top you will be rewarded with some of the best views in Greece across Corfu, the ocean and neighbouring islands.
