Dalyan

Overview

Dalyan is a pretty and unspoilt village north-west of Dalaman and is popular for its idyllic scenery including a freshwater lake, river and lush green countryside. Set along a lovely stretch of coastline it makes the perfect setting for a relaxing beach holiday where you can sunbathe on the golden sands or enjoy some watersports.

There is plenty of exploring to do here in Dalyan so get on foot or hire a mountain bike to check out your surroundings. When the sun goes down you will find a good range of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a delicious Turkish meal and have a drink to unwind.

Dalyan may be a tranquil and beautiful resort but it offers plenty for the active holidaymaker to get involved with, especially watersports. Try your hand at paragliding or take to the waters and go scuba diving, or if you’re more daring – white water rafting!

Have a mud bath

For something a little different why not enjoy a relaxing mud bath in the natural sulphur mud baths of Dalyan - said to have skin enhancing properties.
