Membership

Q: How do I join myJet2?
A: You can apply to join on-line by registering at www.jet2.com or www.myjet2.com.

Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Yes, you need to be 18 or over.

Q: Is membership for individuals only?
A: myJet2 membership is only open to individuals.  It is not open to travel agents, high street or web retailers or for corporate bookings whether made through partnerships, companies, unincorporated associations or similar organisation.

Q: Can I have more than one account?
A: No, you can hold only one account with myJet2 at any one time.

Q: Are there any other exclusions?
A: You must have a permanent residential address in the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland and a valid email address.

Q: What happens if my name changes after I have registered with myJet2?
A: If you change your name, you will need to notify us in writing and provide supporting documentation as proof of your name change.

Earning Points

Q: When will I start to earn points?
A: As soon as you have registered for myJet2, your subsequent purchases will start to earn you points.  Bookings made prior to joining myJet2, will not qualify for points.

Q: How many points can I earn?
A: You can earn 1 point for each full £1 spent on the total paid for carriage (including any fuel supplements and other services you buy such as Jet2Plus, baggage charges and charges for specific seats selected on-line but excluding credit and debit card charges, Paypal charges,  booking fees and other similar charges).

Q: How can I earn points?
A: You will earn points on every purchase you make on-line at www.jet2.com or through the Jet2.com call centre.

Q: Can I earn points if I make a booking at the airport?
A: You will earn points on new flight bookings made through airport sales desks.

Q: If I am a member, can I collect points for my children’s flights?
A: Yes, if you have made the booking you will automatically earn points.

Q: If I am a member and book a ticket for someone else, can I claim points for their travel?
A: Yes, you will earn points in respect of all passengers for whom you make a booking, regardless of whether you travel.in your booking (up to a maximum of 9 passengers – including yourself).

Q: Are there any circumstances where I can not earn points?
A: You will not be able to earn points if you are part of someone else’s booking.  Group bookings of over 10 passengers do not qualify for points.  Additionally, you cannot earn points if you are travelling on a prize-winner, complimentary or staff booking.

Q: When will points appear in my account?
A: Points are earned as soon as the booking is confirmed and valid payment received by Jet2.com.  Points are normally credited to your account within 24 hours of confirmation of your booking.

Spending Points

Q: How can I use my points?
A: You can use your points towards payment for future flight bookings with Jet2.com.  Your points will pay for the base air fare as shown in the Running Total breakdown on-line.  You will have to pay for any fuel supplements, baggage charges or other supplements – but you will earn points for these charges!

Q: How do I make a flight booking?
A: You can make a booking using your points via our call centre on 08444 931 880.

Q: Can I make flight bookings on-line using points?
A: No, these bookings can only be made via our call centre on 08444 931 880.

Q: Are there any restrictions on myJet2 reward flights?
A: Jet2.com may vary from time to time the flights on which you can redeem your points, for example certain flights at peak departure times, on peak dates (e.g. Bank Holidays and/or certain routes which may have very limited availability or may be unavailable for redemption purposes altogether).

Q: How many points will I need to pay for a flight?
A: You will need 600 points to pay for a one way flight in Zone 1 e.g. Leeds – Paris (1200 points for a return) and 1200 points for a one way flight in Zone 2 (2400 for a return).

Q: If I am a member and book a redemption ticket for someone else, do I have to travel with them?
A: No, provided you make the booking, you do not have to travel.

Q: Can I make a redemption booking at the airport.
A: No, redemption bookings have to be made via the call centre on 08444 931 880.

Q: Do points have an expiry date?
A: Yes, myJet2 points will expire 2 years after the date of the relevant booking for which they were earned.

Q: How do I know how many points I have earned?
A: You can view your statement on-line.  Please log in to your myJet2 account to view your statement.

Q: What do I do if I think my statement is wrong?
A: Please contact our call centre on 08444 931 880 who will try to assist.

Q: If I spend my points on flights, are they completely free?
A: The points will cover the base fare, however you will have to pay taxes and charges – you will earn points for these!

Q: Is there a different redemption value for children?
A: The redemption value for children is the same as for an adult.

Q: Is there a different redemption value for infants?
A: Infants travel for zero points, but applicable taxes and charges will still have to be paid.

Q: Do I have to spend my points on return bookings?
A: No, you can spend your points on one-way or return bookings.

Q: If I am booking a flight using myJet2 points is there an advanced purchase deadline?
A: No, provided there is availability, redemption flights can be booked at any time even on the day of travel up to 2 hours prior to departure (subject to the call centre opening hours).

Q: Are there any embargo periods?
A: There are no embargo periods for flight redemptions, however all reward flights are subject to availability and if you are planning to book in peak travel times (bank holidays, school holidays, major sporting events, etc) or on a popular route or at a popular flight time, Jet2.com recommends booking early and being flexible with your dates.

Cancellations or Making Changes

Q: How do I make changes to my redemption booking?
A: All changes should be made by contacting the Call Centre on 08444 931 880. You can make a date change on line, but name changes will need to be made via the call centre on 08444 931 880.

Q: What happens to my points if I cancel my flight?
A: If you need to cancel your flight you will lose your points in the same way you would have lost your payment for a normal booking.

Q: What happens to my points if I need to change the date of my flight?
A: If you can re-book your flight with prior notice for another date your points will automatically be transferred to your new booking.  This is subject to seat availability and myJet2 Terms and Conditions and Jet2.com Booking Conditions still apply.  If redemption seats are not available on your new departure date you will need to pay in full for the cost of the new flight in accordance with our Booking Conditions and the points used to pay for your original flight will be credited to your account for use towards another redemption flight purchase.

Q: If I make a booking using points and need to change a name, can I do it?
A: Yes, we do allow name changes to bookings paid for using points subject to Jet2.com’s Booking Conditions.

Q: What happens to my points if Jet2.com cancels my flight or if my flight is affected by a significant schedule change?
A: If you are unable to accept the alternative flights offered (when applicable), we will credit your statement with the amount of points used to pay for your flight.

Q: Can I club together with other myJet2 members to redeem our joint points?
A: No, unfortunately we do not permit the pooling of points.
