Who are the customers of Jet2.com and her sister companies?
Jet2.com has already flown over 2.5 million business and leisure passengers to 23 popular European city break, sun and snow destinations from Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Belfast International Airports. Around 25% of our passengers fly into the region from various destinations across Europe. In conjunction with the many organizations responsible for promoting tourism in the North of England, Jet2.com actively promotes inbound tourism to the Yorkshire, Manchester and surrounding areas. Indeed we even have “Jet2 Yorkshire” and “Jet2 Manchester” emblazoned across some of our aircraft!
The company has a large fleet of Boeing 737–300 passenger aircraft operating scheduled low cost as well as corporate and specialist passenger charters. We have recently introduced Boeing 757-200's
Customers for these specialist charters include several major passenger airlines, Globespan, cruise companies such as P&O and Hebridian, famous orchestras and theatrical companies, major film studios like Warner Brothers and many premier league football clubs including Leeds United, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur as well as the England Football Team Squad.
The company's contract cargo division has been awarded a long–term contract by the Royal Mail (who has been a valued customer for over 25 years), to be their leading aircraft provider and to operate 7 Boeing 737–300 aircraft, flying domestic mail on nightly services throughout their newly introduced, postal distribution air network. Other long–standing customers for our freight services include leading express parcel companies, freight forwarders and other airlines who contract the company’s Airbus A300B4 “Eurofreighters” and Boeing 737–300 freighters to distribute their products.
In the Distribution Division, Fowler Welch–Coolchain is the country’s leading distributor of temperature–controlled fresh produce and horticultural goods and has contracts with many of the UK’s leading supermarkets, national wholesalers and other retailers within the UK, as well as offering services to and from the Netherlands.
