BOOKING

Our lowest fares

How can I get the best value fare?

Why not try our on-line Low Fare Finder. Our cheapest fares are generally available for people travelling during off peak periods, especially mid week and outside school holiday dates. Generally, the further in advance you book the better chance you have of obtaining the best prices. Our weekend fares tend to be higher than our midweek fares. All fares booked on-line include exclusive on-line discounts. Bookings made through our Call Centre do not attract the on-line discounts. Like most airlines, we run promotions from time to time but to secure the flight dates of your choice we always recommend booking early. Whilst we appreciate that it may be frustrating if a fare you have booked in advance has been reduced in price, due to a promotional offer, there are many occasions that booking in advance secures you not only a fare you are satisfied with but, in addition, the dates that you require. We would continue to advise that in order to ensure you can travel on specified dates, within your budget, you book fares in advance.

Call Centre: Bookings and changes to bookings can be made through our Call Centre. All bookings or changes to a booking must be secured by a credit or debit card at the time of your call. Bookings made through the Call Centre attract an additional charge of 6GBP /8 EUR /12 CHF/220 CZK/ 35PLN per person per sector.

Sales Desk at Departure Airport: Flights may be purchased at the Jet2.com Sales Desk at the departure airport, subject to availability. Bookings made through the Sales Desks attract an additional charge of 6GBP /8 EUR /12CHF/220 CZK/ 35PLN per person per sector. Payments may be made in local currency.

Please ensure that you have read our terms and conditions before proceeding with your booking. You will be asked to confirm that you have read and accepted these before a booking may be made.

Air travel is not subject to VAT, therefore Jet2.com do not issue VAT receipts. Please retain your booking confirmation to support expenses claims etc. as we can only issue a receipt on payment of an admin fee.

Are your prices guaranteed?

Our booking system is “live” and this means that we are not able to guarantee prices until the booking process has been completed, payment taken and a confirmation issued. Seats are sold on a first come, first served basis and fares generally increase as seats are sold. For the best deals, it is usually better to book early and be flexible as to when you travel.

Do you ever reduce fares nearer to the travel date?

Jet2.com continually reviews the number and availability of different fares. Generally, the closer you get to the flight date, the more seats will have been sold thus the ticket price could be higher. To obtain the lowest possible fare we recommend booking as early as possible. We reserve the right to amend our pricing structure or advertise special offers and promotions at any time.

If taxes and charges increase after I book my flights what will happen?

If Governments or airport authorities impose increases or additional taxes and charges that will be in effect on the date of travel, the airline is responsible for collecting these on behalf of these bodies. Please be assured that in such circumstances we will contact you to advise how payment is to be made.

Flight schedules

Can flight schedules change?

While Jet2.com undertakes to carry customers and their baggage at the scheduled time of departure, in case of necessity, Jet2.com may, without notice, substitute alternate carefully chosen carriers or aircraft, and may alter or omit planned schedules as shown in your itinerary receipt.

As we do not wish to inconvenience our customers unless this is unavoidable, changes to flight times or routes are generally only ever made when unavoidable for operational reasons outside our control and we always try to give you as much notice as possible. Do remember that our primary method of contacting you is via email and so it is important to regularly check your inbox. Finally, we remind you that it is a condition of your carriage with us that you recheck your flight itinerary between 72 and 24 hours of travel.

What happens if my flight is cancelled?

If flights are cancelled by Jet2.com and we are not able to offer a suitable alternative Jet2.com flight, we will, upon application, fully refund all monies paid (less any admin change fees) in respect of the cancelled flight, without further liability.

Can I be sure of making a flight, rail, bus or ferry connection or getting to my appointment?

Jet2.com is a "point-to-point" only airline, with the result that it assumes no responsibility to you for making any further travel connections. Consequently, Jet2.com will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising out of any failure of yours to achieve a planned connection or to get to your planned appointment.

Travel insurance advice

Do I need travel insurance?

We highly recommend that you take out personal travel insurance to cover you for costs associated with delays and other travel mishaps or eventualities. UK customers can purchase this online through Acumus Insurance Services Ltd. Insurance is available from one day to annual cover, for European or Worldwide travel, including the option for winter sports cover (UK passengers only). Remember you must declare any pre-existing health conditions. This policy also gives you the peace of mind that in the event of you being taken ill onboard, irrespective of any pre-existing health conditions, you will be covered for claims for reimbursement of Jet2.com's flight diversion costs e.g. landing fees, fuel costs of up to GBP 15000.

Jet2.com’s liability is limited for any loss or damage to baggage and we strongly recommend that you take out your own travel insurance to ensure all your items are covered.

Seat allocation

How can I be sure that my party are seated together?

For a small charge* you can select your preferred seats online, including extra leg room seats. Alternatively, seats will be allocated at check-in, on a first come - first served basis. Note that emergency exit seats are only suitable for able-bodied adults (aged 16 years or over).

If you need an extra seat for comfort or perhaps to accommodate a musical instrument or wedding dress (always subject to airport security regulations permitting on the day of travel), please make the seat booking using the first name "extraseat" together with your own last name e.g. "extraseat Smith". After booking remember to pre-allocate your seats to ensure both seats are together. When checking-in online it is important to print off both boarding passes and show them at the Boarding Gate. Otherwise, you may delay the flight departure due to an incorrect passenger head count.

*If your flight is cancelled e.g. due to adverse weather conditions or a change of aircraft, this charge is refundable upon application in writing and payment of a £5 administration fee.

Do you offer extra leg room seats?

Extra leg room seats are shown clearly on our seat maps during the booking process and are generally located towards the front of the aircraft and alongside the wing exits, towards the middle of the aircraft. On most of our routes these seats can also be booked on-line or, subject to availability, requested at check-in, for a small, locally payable charge per flight. The charge is variable depending on the length of the flight and is between 7.99GBP/ 11EUR/ 16CHF/ 300CZK/ 45PLN and 24.99/ 33EUR/ 50CHF/ 900CZK/ 140PLN*

Where these extra leg room seats are also shown as emergency exit seats, please note that, for safety reasons, emergency exit seats are only suitable for able-bodied adults (16 years or above) as the occupants may be called upon to assist the crew in the unlikely event of an emergency.
