Seat allocation
How can I be sure that my party are seated together?
As soon as you have made your booking for a small charge* you can select your preferred seats online, including double leg room seats in the emergency exit rows. Alternatively, seats will be allocated at check-in, on a first come - first served basis. (We regret that for safety reasons, if you are travelling with an infant or if you have mobility or medical issues you cannot pre-allocate seats - but don't worry as in these cases we have dedicated seats set aside towards the front of the aircraft to allocate to you when you check-in).
If you need extra seat for comfort or, perhaps to accommodate a musical instrument or wedding dress (always subject to airport security regulations permitting on the day of travel), please make the seat booking using the first name "extraseat" together with your own last name e.g. "extraseat Smith". After booking remember to pre-allocate your seats to ensure both seats are together. When checking-in online it is important to print off both boarding passes and show them at the Boarding Gate. Otherwise, you may delay the flight departure due to an incorrect passenger head count.
Do you offer double leg room seats?
Emergency exit row seats have double leg room and are located at the front of the aircraft and alongside the wing exits, towards the middle of the aircraft. On most of our routes these seats can also be booked on-line or, subject to availability, requested at check-in, for a small, locally payable charge per flight. This charge is 12.50GBP/ 19.00EUR/ 29CHF/ 625CZK/ 150NOK/ 75PLN per seat for flights under 3 hours and 17.50GBP/27.00EUR/42CHF/875CZK/210NOK/105PLN for flights of more than 3hours*.
Please note that, for safety reasons, emergency exit seats are only suitable for able-bodied adults (16 years or above) as the occupants may be called upon to assist the crew in the unlikely event of an emergency.
*If your flight is cancelled e.g. due to adverse weather conditions, we regret this charge is not refundable.
What seat pitch does Jet2.com offer?
Our seat pitch and width is the same as most other similar airlines, therefore passengers who normally experience difficulty due to their size should consider whether or not our service is suitable to their needs. In the event that a decision is made to obtain more space by purchasing two seats, please note the above instructions. Our booking system does not facilitate the sale of seats exclusive of taxes and charges.
