The resort

The mountain village within La Clusaz’s far-reaching slopes is a gorgeous little platform for skiers and boarders – it’s a real hit if you’re seeking traditional après-ski. With its range of runs, you’ll have plenty to get stuck into, but the slopes are especially great for mid-levels.

Outstanding outdoors

The alpine scenes are postcard-perfect. The Alps stretch across the backdrop, providing an endless bright white horizon, with a mixture of nursery slopes and fast trails unfolding, and a stand-out 200-year-old church for good measure. You’ll be immersed in wowing sights, so start with a basic run if you want to drink it all in straight away.

Freeriding bliss

Are you a skilled skier or daredevil snowboarder? If yes, be prepared for awesome off-piste in La Clusaz. The rough-looking yet fluffy snow is ideal for slicing down the mountainside – with minimal sketchy landings. Intermediates and experts will be in their element.

Culinary La Clusaz

Après-ski comes already recommended in any ski resort, but La Clusaz is particularly special. The farmed produce including wine, cheese and ham are menu regulars, but you’ll find a smorgasbord of savoury delicacies in any restaurant. There’s a weekly village market to browse, too.

The highlights

  • Gorgeous village setting, with typical French elements.
  • The off-piste runs are exceptional for freeriders and freestylers.
  • Après-ski extends to all-day heaven for foodies.
