A trio of valleys
The marbled mountains of the Three Valleys are scattered with queue-free lift systems ready to take you all over the icy terrain. Striking views of the peaks coat the remarkable resort, with its French character and cosy wood-stone lodges. Les Menuires is also less touristy and hectic than Courchevel, so you’ll get a lot out of the range of runs in this part.
Get set, go!
With 160km of piste perfection, if you’re new to winter sports or consider yourself a mid-ranger, then you’ll be best equipped to ski in Les Menuires. Even though the difficulty doesn’t alter much, the slopes themselves are slightly varied in scenery. If you’re hunting for tougher powder, the terrain park offers some ideal options for skilled snowboarders.
Off the slopes
Beyond the winter sports, shops and bars lie within the central area, so retail therapy and a glass of wine ought to appeal. Relax and unwind as your senses are soothed in the sauna, Turkish bath and bubbling Jacuzzi. The move-busting disco might be calling, too. But, if you can’t keep your feet off the snow, why not go tobogganing, or take a snowmobile down the mountainside?
