Portugal and Madeira -  Industrial Action

Jet2.com has been advised of possible industrial action supported by the security staff at Portugal & Madeira airports from Wednesday 24th August 2016 until the foreseeable future. Jet2.com advise all customers to allow extra time for check in due to this. 

France Travel Advice

Jet2.com has been advised that the weekend of 27-28 August 2016 is expected to be exceptionally busy on all parts of the French road network due to holiday traffic. Jet2.com advise all customers to allow additional time when travelling to the airport.

22nd August 2016 - Indefinate Industrial Action Arrecife Airport

We would like to reassure our customers that despite this disruption Jet2.com will work to operate flights as scheduled and we would therefore ask that all customers check-in on time as we will aim to board flights for an on-time scheduled departure.

If you are arriving at Arrecife Airport at this time, please be prepared for potential prolonged waiting time to disembark the aircraft and at baggage reclaim.

We advise all Jet2.com customers to continue to check this section of our website for the latest update.

Delayed Lanzarote Luggage
Jet2.com would like to apologise to any customers waiting for luggage from Arrecife due to the third party industrial action and reassure them that we are doing everything we can to get the bags back to the UK as soon as possible. 

Venice Airport Departures:

Jet2.com advises all passengers departing from Venice that airport is currently undergoing extensive terminal works meaning that there are various locations at the front of the building and in the departures area that are currently inaccessible to the public. Whilst this is not directly disrupting the schedule of our flights we ask that all customers please take into consideration and allow extra time for the airport procedures before departures.

We also kindly advise all customers to closely monitor the airport departure screens at the airport for updates to your check-in desk location.

If your Jet2.com flight has checked in on Level 0 (Arrivals/Lower Level), once you have checked in for your flight you will need to proceed to security, this is located on Level 1 (Departures and Security/Upper Level). Due to the major infrastructure changes after checking in you must proceed back outside the terminal building to the pick up and drop off area where you will find the working lifts and escalators which will take you up to Level 1.

Once on Level 1 you will need to follow the signage for security and departures.

If you require any assistance or have any questions there are Airport Authority Staff available at various points in the vicinity of departures or our sales desk is located on level 1 and is clearly marked.

All Jet2.com flights for today are currently planned to operate as normal. Jet2.com customers are advised to arrive at their departure airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time.

As soon as we are aware of any significant changes to our flights the information will be published here. This section of our website can be accessed directly via jet2.com/info 

We advise all Jet2.com customers to check this section of our website at least 12 hours before their scheduled departure time, for the latest Jet2.com flight information. We will also endeavour to send email and SMS text alerts to customers affected by a schedule change who have booked direct with
Jet2.com and registered their mobile phone number with us at the time of booking.

If you have booked direct with us and not registered your mobile phone number, you can do this now via the Manage My Booking banner on the homepage.

Jet2holidays customers who are affected by a cancellation or are severely delayed and require assistance should contact the phone number on your booking confirmation and the Jet2holidays team will do their best to assist you.
