Today marks exactly one year since the first of our brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft touched down in the UK.
The aircraft landed at Leeds Bradford Airport on Thursday 15th September 2016 (pictured), after flying in from Gander International Airport in Canada.
After being fitted with a few special finishing touches, it became the first of 34 brand new 737-800 aircraft to be brought into our fleet to support the continued growth of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
A year on, we have now taken delivery of 16 brand new aircraft, with a number to be delivered during Winter 17/18.
By January 2019, all of the new aircraft will be in operation, enabling us to meet increasing customer demand for our award winning service, friendly low fares and great value package holidays.
