An amazing paving stone arrangement along a popular promenade in Alicante is leaving many visitors to the popular resort in awe and perhaps a little off-balance too.

The stones have been arranged in rows of diamonds which gives the impression of steps. This stretches along the promenade for as far as the beach goes.

The design has caused a lot of commotion amongst locals and holidaymakers alike as they stand in amazement of this clever design.

An Amazing Sight

Alicante is currently coming into season in terms of weather and the gateway to the Costa Blanca offers more than just access to some of the best party resorts. As a town on its own right it offers a charming blend of beach culture with a true Spanish town atmosphere.

The introduction of this dynamic paving along the promenade is likely to attract plenty of new visitors to the area, if only to witness the amazing site.

The promenade isn’t the only appealing attraction though, the beach offers a soft golden sand with access to watersports aplenty. Tourists will also find sun loungers and plenty of shade for when the temperature gets a little too hot.

Jet2.com currently has cheap flights to Alicante on sale, including new services from Newcastle and Belfast.
