A Culture-Filled Year Ahead in Prague

Prague is one of Europe’s most vibrant cities and is a fabulous destination for the film lover. With so many cheap flights to Prague with now available, those in the Czech capital during March 4th-13th can enjoy the One World Film Festival. With a strong emphasis on human rights, it is the largest festival of documentaries of its kind.

Young people may want to wait a bit later in the year to make their visit, with the YMCA Festival taking place over August 4th–10th. With shows, music, dance and world food, this is a venue to meet other like-minded young people from all over the world. 

Great Art and Good Eats

Prague is also a fantastic place for fans of great food and art nouveau, and the two come together nicely at the Sarah Bernhardt restaurant. Lastly, Prague’s music and theatre should not be overlooked, and Carmen, Aida and the Magic Flute are just three of the many operas that can be seen at the Prague State Opera in March. Indeed the programme is full throughout the summer, with many fantastic performances to delight the music lover.
