- See the stars play at special ProAm charity event

Yorkshire’s biggest leisure airline, Jet2.com, has teamed up with David Lloyd in Moortown, Leeds, to serve up a tennis fundraising extravaganza with top stars including legend Pat Cash.

Taking place next month, this unique sporting weekend will raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research and Cancer Treatment Research Trust. Cash will join fellow professionals including Sheffield-based former Wimbledon Men’s Doubles champion, Jonathan Marray, in a special exhibition match. They will also be hosting exclusive coaching sessions for both local children and adults.

Marray took some time out of his busy training schedule to join local school children and the tennis talent of tomorrow in celebrating the launch of this event. He said: “Whether you’re a keen player or trying your hand at tennis for the first time, the Jet2.com ProAm promises to be a fantastic opportunity to meet with some of the best in the sport and enjoy a fun family day out.

“The event is one that all the pros taking part are extremely proud to support, and with monies raised going to such an important cause we hope to see as many people there as possible!”

Ian Doubtfire, Managing Director, Jet2.com added: “We’re thrilled to be supporting this fantastic event which will raise vital funds for two very worthy causes. It’s not every day you get to be coached by a tennis legend so I’d encourage any budding Andy Murray’s or Laura Robson’s to sign up for the event quickly to avoid disappointment!”
