April is a great month for art fans to visit Paris because of a range of exciting exhibitions and shows. One of the most exciting of these is the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles, which is a celebration of abstract art and brings together the work of over 400 up-and-coming artists, keen to share their artistic impressions of the world.

The annual event runs through April with daily opening times of 11am to 7:30pm. With so many pieces of work on display there is a lot to take in. However, it takes place at the Parc Floral de Paris so there is a ready-made place to relax.

The park itself is a thing of beauty with the many floral displays creating a fresh canvas of colour.

An Uber Cool event

The Nemo Festival which has been running since March, is also likely to attract plenty of interested visitors getting their fill or art from their cheap flights to Paris.

Set in Issy-les-Moulineaux, this uber cool event has been growing in reputation. There are many installations on show and there is a mix of films and live performances to enjoy. In many ways it encapsulates the artisan atmosphere celebrated in Paris.

Jet2.com currently has cheap flights to Paris on sale.
