‘The 7 Deadly Sins of Yorkshire’ campaign was commended for being creative and innovative in the way it used the sins to take a light-hearted look at the pleasures of Yorkshire. It used each sin to show off Yorkshire’s famous welcome, state of the art attractions, fantastic landscapes, dramatic coastline and countryside. As Joanna Royle, Marketing Director for YTB said: “Yorkshire has an amazing array of cutting edge places to visit and stay and through campaigns like this together with partners such as and internationally renowned ambassadors for our region such as the Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys and Damien Hirst, we are reaching a global platform.” and the Yorkshire Tourist Board have worked together on several successful campaigns to increase inbound tourism from key markets.
