10 Members of Blackpool Airport staff have transferred to employment with The new self-handling arrangements came into play on 1 January 2011.  These new team members will be undertaking meeting and greeting, check in and airside operational roles. The new members of staff will undergo training to provide them with the customer service values that prides itself on. The new self- handling arrangement will also mean that passengers can book flights at the customer services desk.

 The new members of staff bring the current total employees at Blackpool, including flight deck and cabin crew, to over 60. In order to operate through the peak summer months will be seeking an additional 10 members of staff.
