After a successful trial at Heathrow Airport, the UK Immigration Service have launched their Project Iris scheme at Manchester Airport. This new scheme allows UK Citizens to breeze through Passport Control, they simply pre-register a photograph of the iris of their eye when they depart the UK and then have their iris scanned on arrival back, by an automated booth. customers who want to register for Project Iris can either visit the Iris registration point at Manchester Airport, which is situated by Gate 20 in Terminal 1, or visit the Home Office website at -
