With awards season in full-swing and the 92nd Academy Awards set to take place this Sunday, there’s no better time to jet off and explore some of the most beautiful filming locations from across the globe.

With our own series of awards to our name, we have a range of options to iconic movie destinations that will earn five stars with customers.

A key filming location for the psychological sci-fi thriller, Inception, Paris is truly a city that dreams are made of! Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that Leonard DiCaprio and the gang will be making an appearance during your trip.

New York

You’re guaranteed a MARVEL-lous trip with a city break to the Big Apple, one of the key locations for the Box Office-breaking Avengers franchise. Don’t worry, New York’s iconic skyline has been rebuilt since The Hulk and the team went on their destructive rampage.

The location for the 1985 classic, A Room with a View, Florence is a pure cultural hotspot and home to some of the most iconic pieces of artwork that the world has to offer including Michelangelo’s statue of David. The Tuscan capital also offers one of the most breath-taking skylines, featuring the spectacular Duomo cathedral that encompasses the city with its terracotta tiled dome. The clue’s in the title - you’re guaranteed a Room with a View!

“Are you not entertained?” You certainly will be as you explore the island of Malta, the main filming location for the historical drama Gladiator. This Mediterranean jewel is sure to offer Maximus enjoyment.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Located on the heavenly coastline of the Adriatic Sea with stunning waterfalls and unspoilt islands, Dubrovnik will make you feel as if you’ve literally been transported to a Galaxy Far Far Away. This medieval city was one of the key filming locations for Star Wars, The Last Jedi, and offers a glorious sea view that’s as blue as Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber.

You’ll be dancing for joy as you explore the ‘Super Trooper’ Greek islands used as the filming locations for Mamma Mia.
