Tignes, which shares its ski area with Val d’Isere is a good bet for a late-season trip, offering skiing up to 3455m. A high altitude resort in the heart of France’s ski country, Tignes is one of the best all-year round resorts in the Alps. Every style and ability of skier/boarder is catered for with 300km of pisted runs and an un-rivalled amount of off-piste, easily accessible from the resorts modern lift network. Heavy snowfall has continued in France this week, so it pays to get booking a weekend break soon to take full advantage of the excellent snowfall.
