Paris Gets Technological for Tourists and Locals

24th May 2013 • Posted in Announcements

Traditionally, Paris is a city that brings to mind small cafes and historic sites, yet nowadays there is a lot more than meets the eye in some areas of the famous city.

With the increasing technology that is readily available to the public, it is no surprise that Paris is making use of the gadgets and technological advances on-hand. Not only is this great news for businesses, it is also encouraging for those travelling on cheap flights to Paris who don’t want to leave the Internet behind.

Since there are many places to explore within Paris, apps have been developed in order to help both the locals and the tourists find what they are looking for. Some of the most well used technological aspects of the city are the automated metro lines and the free public Wi-Fi in many parks around the city, giving tourists the freedom to keep in touch with friends and family back home.

Enhancing Experiences

One of the most popular tourists locations, the Louvre, is the world’s second largest museum and is home to more than 700 different works of art. That being said, it is a difficult place to navigate, especially for first timers, which is most likely why Nintendo audio guides were introduced last year. These give the visitor a more private experience with the famous museum.

There are a number of different aspects of Paris to explore, and it is up to the visitor whether they take the technological side with them or not. Whatever the choice, there are cheap flights to Paris from that give everyone the chance to experience the city.
