Sport, Culture and Food Highlights in Barcelona

With hundreds of cheap flights available all year round, Barcelona provides the perfect sunshine destination for a city break escape. With its vast array of attractions ranging across the city, Barcelona has long been famous for being able to cater for any and every taste.

Culture vultures should head to La Pedrera, Casa Mila on the Provenca  261-265, built by Gaudi and marked as a world heritage site, the building is a cultural centre putting on various  exhibitions and events throughout the year.  This year’s programme looks to be particularly good as La Pedrera reaches its centenary.

Pleasing All Appetites 

Food lovers will be spoilt for choice as the city is home to some excellent Spanish cuisine. For a taste of Michelin starred Catalan cooking try Cinc Sentits, on C/Aribau 58. For seafood lovers, go to Can Ramonet on C/Maquinista 17 who get in a fresh haul every day. And of course, there are the vast arrays of tapas bars across the city.

Sports fanatics will want to head down to the FC Barcelona football grounds, and perhaps pick up a couple of tickets to a match. You can also visit the club museum which includes a tour of the club’s grounds. 

But where ever your appetite lies, Barcelona will have something to satisfy it so book flights with today.
