Our Jet2 checked baggage allowance means you can book up to three bags of up to 22kg per person (excluding infants), per flight.
Although infants don’t have their own baggage allowance, if you’ve added a 22kg hold bag to your booking, we’ll automatically increase your allowance by an extra 10kg, free of charge. That gives you some more room for any extra items you want to check in for your infant. And this is applicable for each infant-and-adult pairing on the booking.
Please note that no single item of baggage may weigh more than 32kg. Any baggage that exceeds your total weight allowance will be carried subject to availability and at our discretion. You may also need to pay an excess baggage fee, which is £12 per kg.
When pre-booking your bags, the charge per bag is variable depending on your destination, and on whether you make your booking through our website, Call Centre, or at the airport. If you want to check in an additional item at the airport on the day of departure, you’ll need to pay a fee of £45 per item, plus any applicable excess baggage fees.
We generally accept payment for additional baggage fees at the airport in local currency, or by a credit card or debit card. If you are planning to travel with excess baggage, please allow extra time to complete the check-in process.
On request, and if you have approval beforehand, certain items of sporting or medical equipment may be carried in excess of this weight. Please contact us before making your booking to seek the authorisation you need. If you don’t inform us in advance, we reserve the right to refuse carriage of these items.
