Ayia Napa

Overview

Ayia Napa

Ayia Napa, once a small fishing village, is located on the South East coast of Cyprus and is renowned for its nightlife. The Square in the town centre is the focal point for those looking for a great night out with a seemingly endless choice of bars and clubs attracting top international DJs and music to suit everyone’s taste.

However Ayia Napa also has much to offer for families and those looking for a quieter holiday. Nissi beach has beautiful golden sand and is great for soaking up the sun, going for a paddle in the warm sea or trying some watersports. There are also many secluded coves to find for a relaxing afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach areas and town. Ayia Napa is also home to Europe’s largest water park, WaterWorld and is a great place for families or if you just want to have some wet and wild fun.

Although very much a tourist resort, Ayia Napa has managed to retain some of its charm with winding cobbled streets and hidden gems such as the Ayia Napa Monastery with its tranquil courtyard and marble fountain; a world away from the party culture of Ayia Napa today.
