Faliraki is located in the north-east of Rhodes and one of the most popular resorts. It has everything on offer for a fun-packed sun holiday and is perfect for groups of friends and families. It's also only 10km away from the airport, so you can begin your holiday straight away!

As one of the liveliest spots on the island of Rhodes you will never be short of things to do in Faliraki with fantastic beaches that have excellent opportunities for watersports such as banana rides, para-gliding, windsailing and even scuba diving. Faliraki Beach has warm shallow waters which make it popular with families too and children can safely paddle or build sandcastles. Enjoy a relaxing boat trip leaving from Faliraki Harbour that lets you discover the small coves and nearby bays; the trip to beautiful nearby island of Simi is highly recommended.

If you fancy a day away from the sea then why not have fun go-karting or make a splash at the waterpark. Eating out in Faliraki is not a problem; in fact you could enjoy a different mouth-watering cuisine every night of your holiday, from traditional Greek to Chinese and Indian as well as a bit of home comfort food served at friendly British pubs. Before you leave, make sure you try some Souvlaki (which is a traditional Greek dish consisting of small pieces of meat).

The Greeks like to go out late so take your time over your evening meal then head onto Bar Street for a wild night out with plenty of bustling bars and pumping nightclubs as well as beach bars and pool bars. Nearby Rhodes Town is not only another great night out, but also has a beautiful old harbour and plenty of ruins and shops to wander round.

Things to do

Faliraki Waterpark

Brave the kamikaze slides, the wave pool and the black hole if you dare. There are plenty of cafes to buy a quick bite to eat and sunloungers dotted around to soak up some rays before heading into the water again - don't forget your sunscreen!

Faliraki has plenty of rides that are definitely not for the faint-hearted at the fantastic Luna Park. Try bungee jumping by the beach or head into the centre of Faliraki at night where the neon lights of the slingshot and the skysurfer will beckon daredevils.
