San Teodoro

Overview

San Teodoro is a delightful fishing village just south of Olbia which has become more popular recently as it boasts excellent beaches, ideal for a relaxing holiday. Head to nearby La Cinta beach, which is an impressive 3 kilometre stretch of bright white sands leading in to the crystal clear blue waters.

Wildlife fans will enjoy a visit to the Stagno di San Teodoro marshland area where the large lake is home to a variety of species.

As the sun sets on San Teodoro the village comes alive with a bustling but relaxed nightlife including excellent bars and resturants serving various Spanish and Italian cuisines. The large Casteddu restaurant is always a favourite with tourists.

Watersports

San Teodoro offers a wide range of watersports for active holidaymakers to get involved in. Choose from surfing and sailing to boating and scuba diving. All equipment can be rented and instructors are on hand for lessons for the less experienced. If you fancy a break from the water but are still looking for some fun holiday activities to fill your break, then you can enjoy a spot of golf and tennis.

Horse riding

Horse riding is also particularly popular in Sardinia and San Teodoro makes an idyllic setting for a leisurely exploration of the village or if you prefer to go at your own pace then why not rent a bike and stopping off when you please for some delicious Sardinian ice cream!

Budoni

If you are after a relaxing holiday in a tranquil setting then Budoni is the place for you. Situated in the North east of Sardinia not far from San Teodoro this pretty seaside resort is very popular with visitors due to its attractive natural landscapes and fabulous beaches which have earned it the name ‘Carribean beaches’. Port Ottiolu’s beach is the place to go for surfing and hiring out pedaloes.
